Strength Without Courage

Take note the force that lies within

The silent and timid power,

That dares not to take a breath in

Lest she be noticed before her hour.

 

Written in June 2017: Inspired by an Emily Dickinson poem, this quatrain holds a warning for those who underestimate others or belittle their resolve.
